No out put what so ever. No DSP displayed on the day. Signs of a lot of water having been inside it at some point.
I've re wired and soldered most of the damaged areas but i think its pretty much dead! And other posts that say the DSP unit can be saved - or have connection issues. Anybody got any ideas? P Reg Blue P38Mar 29, Check all the connections on the entertainment set up behind the left rear boot panel for water ingress, its known to get a bit wet in there from leaks JLR even do a modification to help sort it, its a plastic sheet that goes behind the equipment.
Had exactly the same problem on my 04 TD6.Qemu gui
Problem was broken pin on plug to DSP. Water drips onto DSP and causes a "fungus" build up on plugs and sockets.
DSP problems on '03 L322
Remove DSP and clean up all the plugs and sockets with switch cleaner, toothbrush and tissue paper or lint free cloth. Also open up the DSP and do the same inside cleaning up and growth on the boards.3d people
If you are good with a soldering iron on circuit boards you can repair damaged bits yourself but I wouldn't recommend this if you are not used to it. Good luck with it.

Take care that you don't drop the clips for the bolts I think it may be the radio that is bolted to the DSP but it may be the TV. SiverParrotMar 31, Thanks SilverParrot. The L has a few variants. Typically on most car audio systems, you would have speakers and power wired to a harness plug that plugs directly into the car radio.
This way the stereo powers the speakers. Then there is a cable that goes from the back to the front with a very different harness plug white and blue and this is what confuses most people. This blue and white harness is specific to the navigation drive and is not the normal BMW audio harness to which our stereos will connect to.
The to were done by Ford and these are very difficult to replace due to the aperture and MOST25 fibre optic system they use.
We currently do not offer anything for the to L The pictures above with the cross shows the Ford unit used on the to OK, so you've got the L between and with the head unit shown with the tick on it. You fetch it out and you are greeted with these plugs:. These plugs are specific to the navigation drive in the back.
Remember before, we said the original BMW harness is actually in the back, plugged into either the navigation drive or the radio drive.
So, you need to bypass these cables by extending the original BMW plug from the back, to the front, for your new radio.Leaflet map scroll
Then you will see the radio drive and there is the original BMW audio harness! You plug it in That's because the DSP amplifier is no longer in use. So now, you have 3 options. Buy a new amplifier and re-wire the speaker cables from the original DSP amp to the new amp. Option 2 would be a common solution.
We would suggest a 6 channel amplifier OR a 4 channel amplifier for the speakers and a bridging 2 channel amplifier for the subwoofers. You can see the 3 plugs here.
DSP problems on '03 L322
The speakers are in the 26 pin plug to the right. So these are the ones you will need to remove from this plug and re-wire. Now you won't retain ALL the speakers when re-wiring directly to the extension harness so that the speakers are powered by the head unit but you will retain enough to have a very good sound quality.Es ist: Anmelden Registrieren. The coding is fairly simple because you can choose this in the menu. Just start up the coding part. The second problem people have is: the Xtrons app's like radio, Spotify of bluetooth music from your phone has to be clicked every time the Xtron turn on again.

You can do it without removing the sidetray,if you fully remove the 2 top bolts on the AMP,the amp should slide upwards as long as the bottom bolts are not too tight.
Right then! Got the amp out opened it up to find no Fuse! Still nothing! I suspect power isnt getting to the amp!So the volume, tone and balance controls are directly controlled on the radio. If only the front speakers are connected to the amplifier and rear speakers directly to the radio, then the FADER can be controlled.
This is not a plug and play adaptor. You need to manually wire the cables to the relevant wires going into the DSP amplifier by "piggy-backing" onto them. The interface has two sets of x4 cables, which to help with the installation we will call them H 1 and H 2. Blue iBus - Connect to the wire going into pin 5 on the small 18 pin amplifier plug smallest plug connection on the amp.
The adaptor has a built-in audio circuits for sound transmission, made by differential circuit with balanced outputs. It is also possible to connect the audio output from the radio to the DSP amplifier without integrated audio controller circuits in accordance with the illustration above.
With this case, the signal level is reduced by half. Once the module is all connected, you then plug in the 10m RCA extension cables and they will plug into the Audio RCA sockets on the head unit.
